Stories are around you everyday, everywhere. You make the choice of what everyday incident into a memorable moment someone will want to read about. You could start with your own family.
Digging up History
Libraries, museums, and the internet all are full of little known facts that make me curious. That's the first step toward finding our more about that subject. Do that and you have the beginning of a good historical article.
A Book From Start to Finish
Read books that you like, and you will soon think of a better one you could write! Write down your idea. An idea is not a book, but you can't write a book without it. You will need to make it longer and add things to it. Then you will want to re-write it. Some writers say that part is the real writing
